this study demonstrates a role for the AHR (zeige AHR Antikörper) in regulating human B cell development, and it suggests that transcriptional alterations of PAX5 by the AHR (zeige AHR Antikörper) are involved in the underlying mechanism
These findings suggested that pax5 is critically important for the proliferation and survival of pre-B cells.

Data show that paired box gene 5 (B-cell lineage specific activator) protein (Pax-5) induces E-cadherin (zeige CDH1 Antikörper) expression in breast cancer cells.
a new function of PAX5 in regulating RIP1 (zeige UQCRFS1 Antikörper) and RIP2 (zeige ARHGEF28 Antikörper) activation, which is at least involved in chemotherapeutic drug resistance in B-lymphoproliferative disorders, is reported.
PAX5-KIDINS220 (zeige KIDINS220 Antikörper) fusion is associated with Philadelphia-like acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
this study shows that Pax5 expression is lower in antibody-secreting cells than in naive B cells or plasmablasts
The histological observations suggested that the patients represent diverse cases of NHL (zeige RTEL1 Antikörper) like mature B-cell type, mature T-cell type and high grade diffuse B-cell type NHL (zeige RTEL1 Antikörper). The findings indicate that patients with NHL (zeige RTEL1 Antikörper) may also be analyzed for status of PAX5, CD19 (zeige CD19 Antikörper) and ZAP70 (zeige ZAP70 Antikörper), and their transcriptional and post-translational variants for the differential diagnosis of NHL (zeige RTEL1 Antikörper) and therapy.
B cell receptor signaling component, SYK (zeige SYK Antikörper), caused PAX5 tyrosine phosphorylation in vitro and in cells. Transcriptional repression on the BLIMP1 (zeige PRDM1 Antikörper) promoter by PAX5 was attenuated by this phosphorylation.
PAX5 haploinsufficiency promotes tumorigenesis and may be related to genomic instability, immune tolerance, and tumor pathways
Pax5 transcription factor cooperates in patterning the Xenopus brain.
identify Pax5 and cyclin D1 (zeige CCND1 Antikörper) as Zfp521 (zeige ZNF521 Antikörper) target genes
Together with similar observations made in human PAX5-ETV6 (zeige ETV6 Antikörper)(+) B-ALLs, these data identified PAX5-ETV6 (zeige ETV6 Antikörper) fusion as a potent oncoprotein that drives B-cell leukemia development.
PAX5 was found to be an epigenetically inactivated tumor suppressor that inhibited non-small-cell lung proliferation and metastasis, through down-regulating the beta-catenin (zeige CTNNB1 Antikörper) pathway and up-regulating GADD45G (zeige GADD45G Antikörper) expression.
Differential PAX5 levels promote malignant B-cell infiltration, progression and drug resistance, and predict a poor prognosis in mantle cell lymphoma independent of CCND1 (zeige CCND1 Antikörper).
Spleen-specific isoform of Pax5 and Ataxin-7 (zeige ATXN7 Antikörper) can be considered as spleen-specific unique molecular markers for the evaluation of splenomegaly and lympho-proliferative disorders.
Pax5 and Ebf1 (zeige EBF1 Antikörper) collaborate to modulate the transcriptional response to Notch (zeige NOTCH1 Antikörper) signaling, and their combined heterozygous loss allows for T-lineage conversion of B cell progenitors.
a dramatic increase in the frequency of pro-B cell leukemia was observed in mice with combined heterozygous mutations in the Ebf1 (zeige EBF1 Antikörper) and Pax5 genes, revealing a synergistic effect of combined dose reduction of these proteins
These results show that in contrast to simple Pax5 haploinsufficiency, multiple sequential alterations targeting lymphoid development are central to leukemogenesis and contribute to the arrest in lymphoid maturation characteristic of ALL.
miR (zeige MLXIP Antikörper)-155 inhibits PU.1 expression, leading to Pax5 down-regulation and the initiation of the plasma cell differentiation pathway.
restoring endogenous Pax5 expression in established B-ALL triggers immunophenotypic maturation and durable disease remission by engaging a transcriptional program reminiscent of normal B-cell differentiation
pax5 works in conjunction with fgf3 (zeige FGF3 Antikörper) and pax2a to establish and/or maintain the utricular macula and is essential for vestibular function.
This gene encodes a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. The central feature of this gene family is a novel, highly conserved DNA-binding motif, known as the paired box. PAX proteins are important regulators in early development, and alterations in the expression of their genes are thought to contribute to neoplastic transformation. This gene encodes the B-cell lineage specific activator protein that is expressed at early, but not late stages of B-cell differentiation. Its expression has also been detected in developing CNS and testis and so the encoded protein may also play a role in neural development and spermatogenesis. This gene is located at 9p13, which is involved in t(9\;14)(p13\;q32) translocations recurring in small lymphocytic lymphomas of the plasmacytoid subtype, and in derived large-cell lymphomas. This translocation brings the potent E-mu enhancer of the IgH gene into close proximity of the PAX5 promoter, suggesting that the deregulation of transcription of this gene contributes to the pathogenesis of these lymphomas. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described but their biological validity has not been determined.
