Handhabung

Format: Lyophilized

Rekonstitution: Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS, 200 mM L-arginine ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Hintergrund: Delta-like protein 4 (DLL4) is a type I membrane protein belonging to the Delta/Serrate/Lag2 (DSL) family of Notch ligands. Activates NOTCH1 and NOTCH4. Involved in angiogenesis, negatively regulates endothelial cell proliferation and migration and angiogenic sprouting. Essential for retinal progenitor proliferation. Required for suppressing rod fates in late retinal progenitors as well as for proper generation of other retinal cell types (By similarity). During spinal cord neurogenesis, inhibits V2a interneuron fate.

Molekulargewicht: 55.7 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 62-68 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
