Produktmerkmale: This antibody recognizes a 24-27 kDa estrogen-regulated protein, identified as heat shock protein 27 (hsp27). Hsp27 was recently found to be identical to the estrogen-induced ?p29? and ?24K? protein. About 50 % of breast carcinomas are positive for hsp27 especially those that are also positive for estrogen and/or progesterone receptor. HSP27 has also been implicated in drug resistance in cancer cells. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF® dyes and other labels. CF® dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF®405S and CF®405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.

Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: Immunohistology formalin-fixed 0.5-1 μg/mL

• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues is enhanced by boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer,  pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes
• Immunofluorescence 0.5-1 μg/mL
• Flow Cytometry 0.5-1 μg/million cells/0.1 mL
• Western blotting 0.25-0.5 μg/mL
• Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by user

Kommentare:

~50% of Breast Carcinomas are positive for hsp27 especially those that are also positive for ER and/or PgR.
