Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: ELISA: To detect Human VEGF by Direct ELISA a concentration of at least 0.5-2 μg/mL isrequired. This purified IgG, in combination with compatible secondary reagents, allows thedetection of 1,0- 2,5 ng/well of recombinant Human VEGF165 or other VEGF splice forms. Western Blot: 5-10 μg/mL. It will detect 25 ng/lane of recombinant human and murineVEGF-A under reducing conditions, dimers are detected at higher protein concentrations.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Hintergrund: VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) is a homodimeric, disulfide-linked glycoprotein involved in angiogenesis which promotes tumor progression and metastasis. It exhibits potent mitogenic and permeability inducing properties specific for the vascular endothelium.
