Format: Lyophilized

Rekonstitution: Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Hintergrund: TIR8, also known as single Ig IL-1-related receptor, is a member of the IL-1 receptor/Toll-like receptor (TLR) superfamily, which acts as an intracellular decoy for components of the signaling pathway. Structurally, it is characterized by a single extracellular Ig domain, an intracellular TIR domain and 95-aa cytoplasmic tail. Recently, TIR8 was shown to inhibit NF- B activation by members of the IL-1/TLR family. The inhibitory activity of TIR8 was associated with trapping of TRAF6 and IRAK1.

Molekulargewicht: 39.29 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 50-70 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
