A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of SPINK1 antibody, Alternative Names: SPINK1 control peptide, SPINK1 antibody Blocking Peptide, Anti-SPINK1 Blocking Peptide, Serine Peptidase Inhibitor Kazal Type 1 Blocking Peptide, PCTT Blocking Peptide, PSTI Blocking Peptide, Spink3 Blocking Peptide, TATI Blocking Peptide, SPINK1, SPINK-1, SPINK 1, SPINK-1 Blocking Peptide, SPINK 1 Blocking Peptide
SPINK1 is a trypsin inhibitor, which is secreted from pancreatic acinar cells into pancreatic juice. It is thought to function in the prevention of trypsin-catalyzed premature activation of zymogens within the pancreas and the pancreatic duct. Mutations in this gene are associated with hereditary pancreatitis and tropical calcific pancreatitis.
