Spezifität: This antibody is expected to recognize isoform I (NP_055306.1), isoform II (NP_683696.1) and isoform III (NP_683697.1 and NP_683698.1).

Aufreinigung: FOXP2 antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Immunogen: FOXP2 antibody was raised against a 14 amino acid synthetic peptide near the internal region of FOXP2.

Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000. Western Blot: Approximately 85 kDa band observed in human brain (cerebellum and frontal cortex) lysates and in rat brain lysates (calculated MW of 82.6 kDa according to NP_683696.1). Recommended concentration: 0.3-1 μg/mL. an additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 28-30 kDa . This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded human prostate shows nuclear staining in the secretory cells. Recommended concentration, 2-4 μg/mL.
