Hintergrund: Cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 2 (CELSR2), also known as Epidemal groeth factor-like2 or Flamingo 1, is a member of the flamingo subfamily, part of the cadherin superfamily. It is a 2,408-amino acid protein , and it was highly expressed in brain and testis. It is believed to play a critical role in a number of extracellular events, including cell adhesion and receptor-ligand interactions.
