  1. High Geminin (zeige GMNN Proteine) expression is associated with triple negative breast cancers.

  2. these data identify DUB3 (zeige USP17L2 Proteine) and USP7 (zeige USP7 Proteine) as factors that regulate DNA replication by controlling Geminin protein (zeige GMNN Proteine) stability, and suggest that USP7 (zeige USP7 Proteine) may be involved in Geminin (zeige GMNN Proteine) dysregulation during breast cancer progression.

  3. geminin (zeige GMNN Proteine) selectively couples the transcription factor forkhead box O3 (FoxO3 (zeige FOXO3 Proteine)) to HDAC3 (zeige HDAC3 Proteine), thereby specifically facilitating FoxO3 (zeige FOXO3 Proteine) deacetylation.

  4. summarize current information on the molecular functions of Geminin (zeige GMNN Proteine) and the regulatory system for Geminin protein (zeige GMNN Proteine) expression, and argue for the molecular role of Geminin (zeige GMNN Proteine) in cell fate determination of hematopoietic stem cells [review]

  5. Down regulation of Gem expression was involved in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC (zeige FAM126A Proteine)), and it might be a favorable independent prognostic parameter for HCC (zeige FAM126A Proteine).

  6. Studies indicate that geminin (zeige GMNN Proteine) expression is associated with different types of cancer.

  7. High geminin (zeige GMNN Proteine) expression is associated with breast cancer.

  8. De novo GMNN (zeige GMNN Proteine) mutations cause autosomal-dominant primordial dwarfism associated with Meier-Gorlin syndrome.

  9. Elevated Ki67 (zeige MKI67 Proteine) and geminin (zeige GMNN Proteine) expression distinguish a fraction of metastatic breast carcinoma with worse prognosis.

  10. These findings demonstrate a new role of Gem/Gmip/RhoA signaling in cortical actin regulation during early mitotic stages.

  1. Rad, Gem and Rem (zeige REM1 Proteine) all reduce depolarization-dependent Ca2 (zeige CA2 Proteine)+ entry in developing myotubes.

  2. These results suggest that Gem plays an important role in normal beta-cell function by regulation of calcium signalling.

  3. Mechanism of the inhibition of calcium channel activity by Gem.

  4. docking of the RGK protein to the nucleotide-kinase domain of the Cavbeta subunit is reminiscent of the binding of GMP (zeige NT5C2 Proteine) to guanylate kinase (zeige GUK1 Proteine)

  5. Results identify specific nuclear localization signals (NLS (zeige ALDH1A2 Proteine)) in Kir/Gem that are both required and sufficient for nuclear transport.

GEM Protein Überblick

Protein Überblick

This gene encodes a protein that plays a critical role in cell cycle regulation. The encoded protein inhibits DNA replication by binding to DNA replication factor Cdt1, preventing the incorporation of minichromosome maintenance proteins into the pre-replication complex. The encoded protein is expressed during the S and G2 phases of the cell cycle and is degraded by the anaphase-promoting complex during the metaphase-anaphase transition. Increased expression of this gene may play a role in several malignancies including colon, rectal and breast cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene, and two pseudogenes of this gene are located on the short arm of chromosome 16.
