Handhabung

Format: Lyophilized

Rekonstitution: Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 5 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Lagerung: 4 °C,-80 °C

Informationen zur Lagerung: Reconstituted protein stable at -80°C for 12 months, 4°C for 1 week. Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Hintergrund: CSC-21K, TIMP2, DDC8, TIMP-2,Tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases or TIMPs are a family of proteins that regulate the activation and proteolytic activity of the zinc enzymes known as matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs).TIMP-2 is a non N-glycosylated protein with a molecular mass of 22 kDa produced by a wide range of cell types, which inhibits MMPs non-covalently by the formation of binary complexes. TIMP-2 also has erythroid-potentiating and cell growth promoting activities.

Molekulargewicht: 22.9 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 24-26 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
