Format: Lyophilized

Rekonstitution: Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Hintergrund: EDA2R is a member of the large family of tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR). Previous studies suggested that EDA2R expression might be increased in the kidneys of diabetic mice. High glucose increases EDA2R expression in kidney cells and that EDA2R induces podocyte apoptosis and dedifferentiation in high glucose milieu partially through enhanced ROS generation.

Molekulargewicht: 42.15 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 55-65 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
