- Hintergrund
- KRT17, as known as keratin17, is a type I cytokeratin. It is found in nail beds, hair follicles, sebaceous glands, and other epidermal appendages. Mutations in KRT17 lead to Jackson-Lawler type pachyonychia congenita and steatocystoma multiplex. Recombinant human KRT17 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli.
