Verwendungszweck: ARF GAP3 is a protein encoded by the ARFGAP3 gene which is approximately 56,9 kDa. ARF GAP3 is localised to the cytoplasm and Golgi apparatus membrane. It is involved in transport to the Golgi and subsequent modification, Golgi-to-ER retrograde transport and metabolism of proteins. It associates with the Golgi apparatus and regulates the early secretory pathway of proteins. The encoded protein promotes hydrolysis of ADP-ribosylation factor 1-bound GTP, which is required for the dissociation of coat proteins from Golgi-derived membranes and vesicles. ARF GAP3 is widely expressed with the highest expression in endocrine glands and testis. Mutations in the ARFGAP3 gene result in premature menopause. STJ91672 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of ARF GAP3 protein.
