Applikationshinweise: Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 16000. Western blot: 0.25-1 μg/mL. Approx 60 kDa band observed in Molt-4 and Jurkat lysates(predicted MW of 50 kDa according to NP_009005.1).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Hintergrund: Coronin 1a belongs to the WD repeat coronin family and contains 5 WD repeats. It may be an essential component of the cytoskeleton of highly motile cells, with roles both in the invagination of large pieces of plasma membrane, as well as in forming protrusions of the plasma membrane involved in cell locomotion. In cell infected by mycobacteria, its retention on the phagosomal membrane prevents fusion between phagosomes and lysosomes. In the CNS, coronin 1A is expressed exclusively by microglial cells.
