Hintergrund: Autotaxin, a member of the ENPP (Ectonucleotide pyrophospatase/phosphodiesterase) family ofectoenzymes, was originally identified as a motogen secreted by a melanoma cell line and subsequentlyreported to promote cell proliferation, cell motility, angiogenesis, and neurite retraction.
