Applikationshinweise
Direct ELISA: To detect Human FGF-17 by Direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution)a concentration of approx. 1.0 μg/mL is required. This Biotinylated antibody allows the detectionof at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human FGF-17. Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human FGF-17 by Sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibodysolution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL is required. In conjunction with PolyclonalAnti-Human FGF-17 as a Capture antibody (ABIN181583 or ABIN181584), allows thedetection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human FGF-17. Western Blot: To detect Human FGF-17 this antibody can be used at a concentration of0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limitfor recombinant Human FGF-17 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducingconditions. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

FGF17 belongs to the heparin-binding growth factors family. It may be a signaling molecule in the induction and patterning of the embryonic brain and is preferentially expressed in the embryonic brain. There are two named isoforms.Synonyms: FGF-17, Fibroblast growth factor 17
