- Hintergrund
- A murine NKX2-8 was isolated from the Hepal-6 cell line and showed oligonucleotide binding competitive with fetoprotein transcription factor. Nkx2.8 bound to the active AFP promoter, and antisense inhibition of Nkx2.8 mRNA translation selectively reduced expression of both the endogenous human AFP gene and transfected reporters containing the rat AFP promoter.Synonyms: Homeobox protein Nkx-2.8, NKX-2.8, NKX2-8, NKX2.8, NKX2G, NKX2H
