Hintergrund

Protein Background: MAPK8 (Mitogen-activated protein kinase 8) also know as JNK, JNK-46, JNK1, JNK1A2, JNK21B1/2, PRKM8, SAPK1 and SAPK1c. MAPK8 is a serine/threonine-protein kinase involved in various processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, transformation and programmed cell death. Extracellular stimuli such as proinflammatory cytokines or physical stress stimulate the stress-activated protein kinase/c-Jun N-terminal kinase (SAP/JNK) signaling pathway.
Short Description: Recombinant MAPK8 (JNK1) protein that includes full length of human MAPK8 protein (accession number NP_001310250.1) was expressed in E. coli and contains an N-terminal His tag with a molecular weight of 46.19 kDa. The purity of the protein is ≥ 95 % by SDS-PAGE.
Aliases: JNK, JNK-46, JNK1, JNK1A2, JNK21B1/2, SAPK1, PRKM8
