Spezifität
- Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI 3-kinase) is composed of p85 and p110 subunits. p85 lacks PI 3-kinase activity and acts as an adapter, coupling p110 to activated protein tyrosine kinase. Two forms of p85 have been described (p85i± and p85i²), each possessing one SH3 and two SH2 domains. Various p110 isoforms have been identified. p110i± and p110i² interact with p85i±, and p110i± has also been shown to interact with p85i² in vitro. p110 L expression is restricted to white blood cells. It has been shown to bind p85i± and p85i², but it apparently does not phosphorylate these subunits. p110 L seems to have the capacity to autophosphorylate. p110i³ does not interact with the p85 subunits. It has been shown to be activated by i± and i²i³ heterotrimeric G proteins.

Known_Application: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (1-2 μg/mL for 30 minutes at RT),(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95 °C followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes),Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
