Produktmerkmale
- GATA-4 is a zinc finger protein and part of the GATA family of sequence specific DNA binding transcription factors that recognize a consensus DNA sequence containing GATA. GATA-4 is involved in the development of several mesodermal and endodermal structures. GATA-4 mutant mice exhibit severe heart malformations. Defects in GATA-4 are the cause of atrial septal defect type 2. ASD2 is a congenital heart malformation characterized by incomplete closure of the wall between the atria resulting in blood flow from the left to the right atria. GATA-4 also plays a role in regulating gene expression in cardiac and smooth muscle cell types. GATA-4 antibody (pAb) was raised in a Rabbit host. It has been validated for use in Western blot, it has been shown to react with Human and Mouse samples.
