Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal of rat SUMO2 & SUMO3 (Small ubiquitin-related modifier 2 and 3) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in many species including human, mouse and chicken.
Isotyp IgG
Spezifität Specific for SUMO2 and SUMO3.
Andere Bezeichnung SUMO 2 (SUMO2 Antibody Abstract)
Hintergrund Function: Ubiquitin-like protein which can be covalently attached to target lysines either as a monomer or as a lysine-linked polymer. Does not seem to be involved in protein degradation and may function as an antagonist of ubiquitin in the degradation process. Plays a role in a number of cellular processes such as nuclear transport, DNA replication and repair, mitosis and signal transduction. Covalent attachment to its substrates requires prior activation by the E1 complex SAE1-SAE2 and linkage to the E2 enzyme UBE2I, and can be promoted by an E3 ligase such as PIAS1-4, RANBP2 or CBX4
Subcellular location: Nucleus Also known as: Small ubiquitin-related modifier 2, SUMO-2, Ubiquitin-like protein SMT3B, SMT3 homolog 2, Sentrin-2, Smt3b, Smt3h2, SUMO-3, SUMO 3, Small ubiquitin-related modifier 3.
Pathways Methionine Biosynthetic Process
Applikationshinweise A concentration of 10-50 µg/ml is recommended.
The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
Format Lyophilized
Rekonstitution Reconstitute in 150 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handhabung Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Lagerung 4 °C/-20 °C
Informationen zur Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
