Western Blotting (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
Spezifität
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site. AFX (phospho-Ser197) antibody detects endogenous levels of AFX only when phosphorylated at serine 197.
Aufreinigung
Immunoaffinity chromatography.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human AFX around the phosphorylation site of serine 197 (A-A-SP-M-D).

FOXO4 is a forkhead transcription factor involved in the regulation of the insulin signaling pathway. It binds to insulin-response elements (IREs) and can activate transcription of IGFBP1. FOXO4 down-regulates expression of HIF1A and suppresses hypoxia-induced transcriptional activation of HIF1A-modulated genes. It is also involved in negative regulation of the cell cycle.Synonyms: Fork head domain transcription factor AFX1, Forkhead box protein O4
