Human Polyclonal RPS9 Primary Antibody für EIA, WB - ABIN453351
Lindström, Zhang: Ribosomal protein S9 is a novel B23/NPM-binding protein required for normal cell proliferation. in The Journal of biological chemistry 2008
RPS9/LILRB3 (zeige LILRB3 Antikörper) (rs11666543) was associated with Takayasu arteritis.
Evaluating different RPS9 fragments for their ability to bind NPM1 (zeige NPM1 Antikörper) indicated that there are two binding sites for NPM1 (zeige NPM1 Antikörper) on RPS9.
ribosomal protein S9 silencing elicits a multitude of cellular responses inhibiting the growth of cancer cells subsequent to p53 (zeige TP53 Antikörper) activation
B23 (zeige NPM1 Antikörper) selectively stores, and protects ribosomal protein S9 in nucleoli and therefore could facilitate ribosome biogenesis.
Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit. The protein belongs to the S4P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. Variable expression of this gene in colorectal cancers compared to adjacent normal tissues has been observed, although no correlation between the level of expression and the severity of the disease has been found. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, multiple processed pseudogenes derived from this gene are dispersed through the genome.
