CK7/ HPV-L1 expression, and the presence of koilocytosis can be used for prognostication in patients with cervical low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions.
KRT7-AS formed an RNA-RNA hybrid with KRT7 and controlled KRT7 expression at both the mRNA and the post-transcriptional levels. forced overexpression of the KRT7-overlapping region (OL) of KRT7-AS (but not its non-KRT7-OL portions) increased keratin 7 protein levels in cells. Finally, forced overexpression of full-length KRT7-AS or OL KRT7-AS (but not its non-KRT7-OL regions) promoted GC cell proliferation
These data support the theory that CK7 staining may inform risk stratification for low-grade squamous intraepithelial cervical lesions (CIN1).
Mismatch repair (MMR (zeige MRC1 Antikörper)) defects influence the expression of clinically important biomarkers for endometrioid-type endometrial carcinoma as decreased cytokeratin 7 expression is more commonly associated with MMR (zeige MRC1 Antikörper) deficiency.
Survival analysis showed that the non-small cell lung carcinoma patients with enhanced expression of CK7, ELF3 (zeige ELF3 Antikörper), EGFR (zeige EGFR Antikörper), and EphB4 (zeige EPHB4 Antikörper) mRNA in peripheral blood leukocytes had poorer disease-free survival and overall survival than those without.
Immunocytochemistry using this antibody cocktail comprises five antibodies recognising p63 (zeige RPE65 Antikörper), and cytokeratins ( 7, 18, 5 and 14) showed good sensitivity and specificity for diagnosing breast cancers. Thus, this method is useful for mammary cytology using FNA
Keratin 34betaE12/K7 expression is a prognostic parameter in resected early stage NSCLC that allows identification of high-risk NSCLC patients with poor cancer-specific and overall survival.
CK7, TTF-1 (zeige NKX2-1 Antikörper) and napsin A (zeige NAPSA Antikörper) are predominantly expressed in primary lung adenocarcinoma patients, with CDX-2 (zeige CDX2 Antikörper) being inconsistently expressed.
CK7 staining was notably heterogeneous, with 14.5% of all cases demonstrating =20% tumour cell staining
Data show that cytokeratin-7 (KRT7) mRNA expression serves as a sensitive approach for the molecular detection of KRT7-positive circulating tumour cells (CTCs)-resembling A549 cells in peripheral whole blood.
Keratin-7 deficiency resulted in increased proliferation of the bladder urothelium, although this was not associated with hyperplasia.
The -0.25 kb region of keratin 7 promoter showed pancreatic selectivity, high activity in pancreatic cancers, & sustained transgene expression in xenografts. krt7 promoter is useful to target pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells in vitro and in vivo.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin gene family. The type II cytokeratins consist of basic or neutral proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains coexpressed during differentiation of simple and stratified epithelial tissues. This type II cytokeratin is specifically expressed in the simple epithelia lining the cavities of the internal organs and in the gland ducts and blood vessels. The genes encoding the type II cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 12q12-q13. Alternative splicing may result in several transcript variants\; however, not all variants have been fully described.
