Study demonstrates that annexin A7 protein has an important role in gastric cancer. Silencing the expression of ANXA7 in vitro and in vivo induces the apoptosis of BGC823 gastric cancer cells and, importantly, inhibits the growth of tumor xenografts in mice.
data reveal that high UBE3C (zeige UBE3C Antikörper) expression contributes to glioma progression by ubiquitination and degradation of ANXA7, and thus presents a novel and promising target for glioma therapy.
High annexin A7 expression is associated with poor differentiation in gastric cancer patients, and it may be a predictor for lymphatic metastasis.
miRNA-155 promoted the proliferation of prostate cancer cells by regulating ANX7 expression levels.
The role of distinct SGK1 (zeige SGK1 Antikörper)/FOXO3A (zeige FOXO3 Antikörper)-associated regulation in p53 (zeige TP53 Antikörper) versus ANXA7 responses were elucidated and proposed that aberrant SGK1 (zeige SGK1 Antikörper) could affect reciprocal SGK1 (zeige SGK1 Antikörper)-FOXO3A (zeige FOXO3 Antikörper)-Akt (zeige AKT1 Antikörper) regulation.
Alternative ANXA7 splicing was present in precursor cells, suggesting that glioblastoma cells inherit the trait from a potential tumor-initiating ancestor and that these cells exploit this the through accumulation of mutations that enhance EGFR (zeige EGFR Antikörper) signaling.
Both annexin A7 and integrin beta4 were essential for small molecule, 6-amino-2, 3-dihydro-3-hydroxymethyl-1, 4-benzoxazine-induced autophagy.
Annexin A7 expression was able to inhibit HCC (zeige FAM126A Antikörper) lymph node metastasis, whereas knockdown of Annexin A7 expression significantly induced HCC (zeige FAM126A Antikörper) metastasis to local lymph nodes.
We have found ANXA7 to be functioning like a tumour promoter in HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cells
The present observations demonstrate that enhanced eryptosis of annexin7 deficient cells is paralleled by increased adhesion of erythrocytes to the vascular wall, an effect, which may impact on microcirculation during ischemia.
Annexin A7 deficiency upregulates FGF23 (zeige FGF23 Antikörper) plasma levels, an effect paralleled by increased corticosterone plasma levels, as well as decreased 1,25(OH)2 D3 and PTH (zeige PTH Antikörper) plasma levels.
alterations in serum Annexin A7 expression may be of prognostic relevance in hepatocarcinoma lymphatic metastasis
Ezrin (zeige EZR Antikörper) may play a role in regulating lymphatic metastasis in hepatocellular carcinoma and might be inversely associated with A7 expression.
Annexin A7 formed a protein complex with BAG4 (zeige BAG4 Antikörper) in mouse hepatocarcinoma cells; Annexin A7 modulated BAG4 (zeige BAG4 Antikörper) and BAG4 (zeige BAG4 Antikörper)-binding proteins in mitochondrial apoptosis.
Decreased expression of Annexin A7 inhibits the proliferation of hepatocarcinoma cells by way of the intrinsic mitochoindrial pathway.
annexin A7 influences insulin (zeige INS Antikörper) sensitivity of cellular glucose uptake in a COX (zeige CPOX Antikörper)-dependent fashion.
Clic1 (zeige CLIC1 Antikörper) have a role in migration and invasion in hepatocarcinoma maybe via modulating the expression of Annexin A7 and Gelsolin (zeige GSN Antikörper).
ANXA7 is an important factor in tumors with the lymphatic metastasis.

Annexin VII is a member of the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipid binding proteins. The Annexin VII gene contains 14 exons and spans approximately 34 kb of DNA. An alternatively spliced cassette exon results in two mRNA transcripts of 2.0 and 2.4 kb which are predicted to generate two protein isoforms differing in their N-terminal domain. The alternative splicing event is tissue specific and the mRNA containing the cassette exon is prevalent in brain, heart and skeletal muscle. The transcripts also differ in their 3'-non coding regions by the use of two alternative poly(A) signals. Annexin VII encodes a protein with a molecular weight of approximately 51 kDa with a unique, highly hydrophobic N-terminal domain of 167 amino acids and a conserved C-terminal region of 299 amino acids. The latter domain is composed of alternating hydrophobic and hydrophilic segments. Structural analysis of the protein suggests that Annexin VII is a membrane binding protein with diverse properties, including voltage-sensitive calcium channel activity, ion selectivity and membrane fusion.
