This antibody recognizes the alpha chain of CD25, otherwise known as IL-2 receptor alpha. This clone has been described reacting with paraffin-embedded material following PLP fixation (periodatelysine-paraformaldehyde). Clone OX-39 has been shown to weakly inhibit the binding of IL-2 to Con-A stimulated spleen blasts. We recommend the use of SM265LE for this purpose.

Immunogen
Stimulated Rat T cells. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NSO/1 mouse myeloma cell line.
Flow Cytometry: 1/10 - 1/50, Use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL. ELISA. Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry on frozen and paraffin sections. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
