Human Charged Multivesicular Body Protein 5 (CHMP5) Interaktionspartner

  1. CHMP5 might be involved in the homeostatic regulation of TCR on the cell surface, presumably through TCR recycling or degradation. Thus CHMP5 is implicated in TCR-mediated signaling.

  2. ESCRT-III protein CHMP5 inhibits LIP5-mediated VPS4 activation by inducing a moderate conformational change within LIP5.

  3. after CHMP5 inhibition, both Granzyme B/Perforin (zeige PRF1 Proteine) apoptotic pathway and apoptosis-inducing factor (zeige AIFM1 Proteine)-mediated necrotic pathway were activated, while autophagic pathway was not activated

  4. PNAS-2 was shown to be anti-apoptotic and may participate in leukemogenesis

  5. pnas-2 is specifically up-regulated in acute leukemia patients.

  6. The pnas-2 gene may be closely related with apotosis of arsenic sulfide (zeige SQRDL Proteine) treated APL (zeige FASL Proteine) cells.

Mouse (Murine) Charged Multivesicular Body Protein 5 (CHMP5) Interaktionspartner

  1. CHMP5 is a key sensor of thresholds for signaling via the T cell antigen receptor (TCR) that is essential for T cell development. CHMP5 enabled positive selection by promoting post-selection thymocyte survival in part through stabilization of the pro-survival protein Bcl-2 (zeige BCL2 Proteine).

  2. CHMP5 tunes NF-kappaB (zeige NFKB1 Proteine) signaling downstream of RANK in osteoclasts to dampen osteoclast differentiation, osteoblast coupling and bone turnover rates.

  3. CHMP5 regulates late endosome function downstream of MVB formation, and the loss of CHMP5 enhances signal transduction by inhibiting lysosomal degradation of activated receptors.

CHMP5 Protein Überblick

Protein Überblick

CHMP5 belongs to the chromatin-modifying protein/charged multivesicular body protein (CHMP) family. These proteins are components of ESCRT-III (endosomal sorting complex required for transport III), a complex involved in degradation of surface receptor proteins and formation of endocytic multivesicular bodies (MVBs). Some CHMPs have both nuclear and cytoplasmic/vesicular distributions, and one such CHMP, CHMP1A (MIM 164010), is required for both MVB formation and regulation of cell cycle progression (Tsang et al., 2006
