Format: Lyophilized

Rekonstitution: Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Hintergrund: Decay Accelerating Factor (or CD55) is a major regulator of the alternative and classical pathways of complement activation and is expressed on all serum-exposed cells. It is commonly hijacked by invading pathogens, including many enteroviruses and uropathogenic Escherichia coli, to promote cellular attachment prior to infection.

Molekulargewicht: 36.6 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 50-70 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
