Spezifität: Caveolin-1 is a major structural component of caveolae which are vasicular invaginations present on the plasma membrane of different cell types. It plays a regulatory role in several signalling pathways and is reported to be most abundantly expressed in terminally differentiated mesenchymal cells such as smooth muscle cells, adipocytes, endothelial cells and fibroblasts.

Applikationshinweise: Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections. Use at a 1:200 dilution. Use a high- temperature antigen unmasking technique with 60-minute primary antibody incubation at 25°C and standard ABC technique. Western blot: Use at ~ 1:4,000 dilution.
