Der Kaninchen Polyklonal anti-TBK1 Antikörper (ABIN6990357) detektiert spezifisch TBK1 in WB, ELISA und ICC.
Dieser Antikörper reagiert spezifisch mit Proben aus Human und Maus.
NAK Antibody is affinity chromatography purified via peptide column.
Immunogen
NAK antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to 17 amino acids form near the carboxy terminus of human NAK/TBK1. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of NAK.
NAK antibody can be used for detection of NAK/TBK1 by Western blot. An 84 kDa band should be detected. Antibody can also be used for immunocytochemistry starting at 10 μ,g/mL.
Antibody validated: Immunocytochemistry in human samples. All other applications and species not yet tested.

Hintergrund
NAK Antibody: Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κ,B) is a ubiquitous transcription factor and an essential mediator of gene expression during activation of immune and inflammatory responses. NF-κ,B mediates the expression of a great variety of genes in response to extracellular stimuli. NF-κ,B is associated with Iκ,B proteins in the cell cytoplasm, which inhibit NF-κ,B activity. Phosphorylation of I-kappaB by Iκ,B kinase (IKK) complex leads to degradation of I-kappaB and activation of NF-κ,B. The IKK complex contains IKKα, IKKβ, and IKKγ,. A novel IKK related kinase was recently identified and designated TBK1 (TANK-binding kinase 1), NAK (NF-κ,B-activating kinase), and T2K. NAK/TBK1 activates IKKβ, through direct phosphorylation. NAK/TBK1 is activated by growth factors and PMA and mediates IKK and NF-κ,B activation in response to growth factors. NAK/TBK1 functions upstream of NIK and the IKK complex. NAK/TBK1 is also critical in protecting embryonic liver from apoptosis.
