    Hintergrund

The JC12 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human Foxp1, a winged helix transcription factor that is expressed in almost all human tissue. In several tumor types, the gene is lost suggesting it plays a tumor suppressive role. It plays an important role in the development of the brain, lungs, thymus, and heart. Foxp1 is also involved in the development of early B cells.
