Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: NeutralizationTo yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mVEGF (50.00 ng/mL), a concentration of 1.0-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISAIndirect: To detect mVEGF by indirect ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antibody, in conjunctionwith compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well ofrecombinant mVEGF. Sandwich: To detect mVEGF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antibody, in conjunctionwith biotinylated Anti-Murine VEGF (PP1113B) as a detection antibody, allows the detectionof at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant mVEGF. Western BlotTo detect mVEGF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limitfor recombinant mVEGF is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducingconditions.

Hintergrund: VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) is a homodimeric, disulfide-linked glycoprotein involved in angiogenesis which promotes tumor progression and metastasis. It exhibits potent mitogenic and permeability inducing properties specific for the vascular endothelium.
