Human Creatine Kinase, Brain (CKB) Interaktionspartner

  1. Association and oligomerization of Prx (zeige PRDX6 Proteine) II could take part in recovery and protection of the CK BB enzyme activity from inactivation during heat-induced stress.

  2. membrane localization of BCK seems to be an important and regulated feature for the fueling of membrane-located, ATP-dependent processes, stressing again the importance of local rather than global ATP concentrations.

  3. These findings support increased CK activity as protection against ischaemia-reperfusion injury, in particular, protection via CKMT2 (zeige CKMT2 Proteine) in a cardiac-relevant cell line, which merits further investigation in vivo.

  4. SRC (zeige SRC Proteine), LYN (zeige LYN Proteine) and CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine) expression or DNA methylation (zeige HELLS Proteine) could be useful markers for predicting tumor progression.

  5. CK-B catalytic activity also helps in the formation of protrusive ruffle structures which are actin-dependent and abundant on the surface of both unstimulated and LPS (zeige IRF6 Proteine)-activated macrophages.

  6. increased serum Ckbb reflects failure of osteoclasts or suppression of osteoclasts in children with osteogenesis imperfecta (zeige COL1A2 Proteine) during neridronate treatment

  7. We found that most patients with macular telangiectasia-2 possess retinal autoantibodies, the most prevalent of which were directed against AGL, RBP3 (zeige E2F1 Proteine), and CK-B.

  8. study found promoter SNPs of CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine) and TPI1 (zeige TPI1 Proteine) were weakly associated with schizophrenia;in addition, IFNG (zeige IFNG Proteine) polymorphisms were associated with schizophrenia; results suggest that IFNG (zeige IFNG Proteine) and proteins affected by IFNG (zeige IFNG Proteine) may play a role in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia

  9. de-methylated CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine) gene is inherited that leads to high CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine) expression levels in myeloic precursor cells in the bone marrow

  10. His103 and Phe107 in hASB9-2 are essential for binding to CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine).

  1. The effect of Zn(2+) on the folding and aggregation of brain creatine kinase (CK-BB), was studied.

  2. report the identity of a 45 kDa imidazoline binding protein to be brain creatine kinase and this enzyme possesses an I2 binding site; findings will undoubtedly contribute to greater understanding of and development of imidazoline therapeutic drugs.

Mouse (Murine) Creatine Kinase, Brain (CKB) Interaktionspartner

  1. Loss of normal CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine) structure and function contributes to the mechanisms by which isoaspartate accumulation leads to central nervous system dysfunction in the PIMT (zeige PCMT1 Proteine)-Knockout mouse.

  2. CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine) plays a key role in myotube formation by limiting myoblast fusion during myogenesis.

  3. BCK phosphorylation at Ser6 did not affect its enzymatic activity, but led to the appearance of the phosphorylated enzyme at the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)

  4. Hypothalamic plasticity of neuropeptide Y is lacking in brain-type creatine kinase double knockout mice with defective thermoregulation

  5. negative regulation of CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine) by mHTT is a key event in the pathogenesis of HD and contributes to the neuronal dysfunction associated with HD.

  6. reduced expression of brain creatine kinase in the cochlea of Huntington disease (zeige HTT Proteine) mice is associated with hearing impairment

  7. In rat cerebrum and cerebellum, as in rat heart, at all ages the several cCK isoenzymes do participate in a gender-specific manner, in favor of females, in diverse functions of the different cell compartments of glial and neuronal cells.

  8. cytoskeletal dynamics during cell motility is coupled to on-site availability of ATP generated by CKB (zeige CHKB Proteine)

Creatine Kinase, Brain (CKB) Protein Überblick

Protein Überblick

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in energy homeostasis. The encoded protein reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens such as creatine phosphate. It acts as a homodimer in brain as well as in other tissues, and as a heterodimer with a similar muscle isozyme in heart. The encoded protein is a member of the ATP:guanido phosphotransferase protein family. A pseudogene of this gene has been characterized.
