Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | Type IV Collagen |
| Format | Purified |
| Beschreibung | Reacts with conformational determinants on human type IV collagen as demonstrated by ELISA. May react with type IV collagen from other species. Exhibits <10% cross reactivity with collagen type I, II, III, V and VI. The antibody has not been tested for reactivity with other ECM proteins (e.g., laminin, fibronectin). |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | WORKING DILUTIONS Immunocytochemistry/ Immunohistochemistry: Purified (1:10-1:20), Biotin (1:20-1:40). ELISA: Biotin (1:1000-1:4000). Since applications vary, you should determine the optimum working dilution of the product that is appropriate for your specific need. *Please note that harsh chemicals or procedures involving heat may denature collagen epitopes needed for proper binding. We recommend avoiding such applications when using this antibody. |
| Lagerung | The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied as 0.2 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 0.5 mL (C = 0.4 mug/mL) of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.0. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2-8C. The biotin (BIOT) conjugate is supplied as 0.2 mg in 0.5 mL (C = 0.4 mug/mL) of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8C. Reagents are stable for the period shown on the label if stored as directed. WARNING Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing. |
