Target: IgA Secretory Component

Hintergrund: SC-05 reacts with a reduction resistant epitope on 80 kDa human secretory component (both free and bound to SIgA). Secretory component is differentially expressed in epithelium, thus SC-05 can identify subpopulations of epithelial cells and epithelial differentiation. Secretory component negative cell lines are not stained with SC-05. Positive control: Stomach, lung, or breast tumor.
