Protein Size: Recombinant THPO migrates as an approximately 19 kDa protein due to glycosylation under reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE.

Biological Activity Comment: Determined by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of human MO7e cells. The expected ED50 is ≤ 0.2 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ≥ 5 x 106 units/mg.

Format: Lyophilized

Rekonstitution: A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.

Buffer: THPO was Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.2.

Lagerung: 4 °C,-20 °C

Informationen zur Lagerung: The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20°C. Upon reconstitution, this product can be stored in working aliquots at 2°- 8°C for one month, or at -20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
