- Hintergrund
- Marginal zone B- and B1-cell-specific protein, also known as MZB1, acts as a hormone-regulated adipokine/proinflammatory cytokine that is implicated in causing chronic inflammation, affecting cellular expansion and blunting insulin response in adipocytes. This protein may have a role in the onset of insulin resistance. Recombinant human MZB1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
