Spezifität: This antibody strongly binds human and cynomolgus monkey PD-L1 and shows weak binding for mouse PD-L1. PD-L1 is highly expressed in many human tumors. . PD-L1 exerts an immune suppressive signal through binding to PD-1 and B7.1, and tumor expression of PD-L1 can mediate cancer immune evasion. Blocking this pathway, therefore provides a rationale for cancer immunotherapy.

Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: The binding characterization of this antibody towards human, mouse and cynomolgus monkey PD-L1 was done using flow cytometry. This antibody was shown to block the binding of hPD-1-Fc protein to hPD-L1 expressed on the surface of the HEK-293T cells at a concentration of 10 μg/mL. The mouse version of this antibody was reported to inhibit patient derived melanoma tumor in tumor-bearing mice. There was also found an increase in the gene expression of CD8 and IFN-γ in tumor samples from mice treated with mouse version of this antibody (US20180346571).

This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Human IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
