Hintergrund
 - Background: CTNND1 is an Armadillo repeat domain protein and member of the p120 protein family. The major function of CTNND1 involves the regulation of cadherins to influence cell-cell interactions. CTNND1 regulates cadherins by controlling cadherin turnover and/or trafficking. CTNND1 has also been found to play a role in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton by modulating the activity of small GTPase Rho family members. CTNND1 is a substrate of the nonreceptor tyrosine kinase src and may play a role in the regulation of factors that regulate transcription.
