TRIM3/BERP has been identified as a component of the CART (cytoskeleton-associated recycling or transport) complex which includes actinin-4, hrs, myosin V, and TRIM3/BERP. In this complex TRIM/BERP is involved in the recycling of plasma membrane receptors.
