- Background: LEDGF/p75 has been identified as a transcriptional coactivator involved in lens epithelial cell gene regulation and in neuroepithelial stem cell differentiation and neurogenesis. LEDGF has also been shown to function as a cofactor for lentivirus and HIV integration.
