The antibody can be used in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. The antibody recognizes an extracellular epitope and could potentially detect the protein in living cells. It has been designed to recognize Neuregulin-1 from rat, human, and mouse samples. This antibody will recognize NRG1 Type I, Type II and Type IV. It will not recognize Neuregulin-1 Type III.
