- N-acylneuraminate-9-phosphatase belongs to the family of hydrolases, specifically those acting on phosphoric monoester bonds. This enzyme participates in aminosugars metabolism. The two substrates of N-acylneuraminate-9-phosphatase are N-acylneuraminate 9-phosphate and H2O, whereas its two products are N-acylneuraminate and phosphate.
