Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: Neutralization:
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hflt3- Ligand (15 ng/mL), a concentration of 0.25 - 0.75 μ,g/mL of this antibody is required.

ELISA:

To detect hflt3-Ligand by direct ELISA (using 100 μ,L/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5 μ,g/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hflt 3-Ligand.

Sandwich: To detect hFGF-basic by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μ,L/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25 - 1.0 μ,g/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with our Polyclonal Anti-Human FGF-basic (XP-5138Bt) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hFGF-basic.

Western Blot:

To detect hflt3-Ligand by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μ,g/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hflt3-Ligand is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Hintergrund: Flt3-Ligand is a growth factor important for the proliferation of hematopoietic cells. Flt3-Ligand binds to, and transmits signals through, the receptor tyrosine kinase known as FMS-like Tyrosine Kinase-3 (FLT-3). Flt3-Ligand promotes long-term expansion and differentiation of human pro-B-cells in the presence of IL-7 or in combination of IL-7 and IL-3. Human Flt3-Ligand can stimulate the proliferation of cells expressing murine FLT-3 receptors.
