Dieses Kaninchen Polyklonal-Antikörper erkennt spezifisch GLO1 in WB, IP, IF, EIA, RIA, ID und DB. Er zeigt eine Reaktivität gegenüber Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
The antibody recognizes Glyoxalase from Yeast. The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques: Immunoelectrophoresis, Cross-Immunoelectrophoresis, Single Radial Immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, Immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition. Cross-reactivities against enzymes of other sources may occur but have not been determined.
Aufreinigung
Solid Phase Affinity Chromatography
Immunogen
Glyoxalase isolated and purified from Yeast. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.

Informationen zur Lagerung
Store the antibody lyophilized at 2-8 °C and reconstituted at 2-8 °C for one week or (in aliquots) at -20 °C for longer. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation.
Target
GLO1
(Glyoxalase I (GLO1))
Andere Bezeichnung
Glyoxalase I / GLO1
Hintergrund
The enzyme encoded by GLO1 is responsible for the catalysis and formation of S-lactoyl-glutathione from methylglyoxal condensation and reduced glutatione. GLO is linked to HLA and is localized to 6p21.3-p21.1, between HLA and the centromere.Synonyms: Aldoketomutase, Glx I, Ketone-aldehyde mutase, Methylglyoxalase, S-D-lactoylglutathione methylglyoxal lyase
