Hintergrund: HDA6 (histone deacetylase 6) is an enzyme (EC=3.5.1.98) responsible for deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Involved in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Not detected in leaves, stems, flowers and young siliques. Induced by jasmonic acid and ethylene.
