Western blot. ELISA: 1/6000-1/24000. Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 5 μg/mL. This antibody was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigenretrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides wereincubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkalinephosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. -

Hintergrund
- Glutamate dehydrogenase has a central role in nitrogen metabolism in plants and animals. Glutamate dehydrogenase is found in all organisms and catalyzes the oxidative deamination of 1-glutamate to 2-oxoglutarate. Glutamate, the main substrate of Glutamate dehydrogenase, is present in brain in concentrations higher than in other organs. In nervous tissue, Glutamate dehydrogenase appears to function in both the synthesis and the catabolism of glutamate and perhaps in ammonia detoxification.Synonyms: GDH1, GLUD, GLUD1
