Applikationshinweise
- IHC, ICC (frozen or formalin–fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and cell smears. For IHC dilute conc. antibodies 1:50-1:100, use streptavidin-biotin system or polymer system, incubate 30 minutes at room temperature. Prediluted antibody is ready to be used for IHC. The optimum dilution should be determined by the individual lab. Positive Control: Human uterus, gastrointestinal tissue, Leiomyosarcoma. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic.

Hintergrund
- Actin is a globular, roughly 42-kDa protein found in all eukaryotic cells. Actin participates in many important cellular functions, including muscle contraction cell motility cell division and cytokinesis vesicle and organelle movement, cell signaling, and the establishment and maintenance of cell junctions and cell shape. Expression of smooth muscle alpha actin is regulated by hormones and cell proliferation and is altered by pathological conditions including onogenic transformation and atherosclerosis.
