- Recognizes the human cell surface antigen Fas (~43kD) expressed in various human cells, including myeloid cells, T lymphoblastoid cells and diploid fibroblasts. This antibody does not recognize TNF and does not cross-react with mouse Fas.

Usage: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunocytochemistry. Apoptosis: >15 ng/mL maximally induced apoptosis of human Jurkat cells with 80-90 % mortality after 24 hours of treatment. This lot has an ID50 of 1.0 ng/mL in apoptosis assays. Western Blot: 0.5-2 mg/mL. Immunocytochemistry: 5-10 mg/mL o. Flow cytometry: Use 20 mg/mL. Can be used for activation studies. -
