ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 l/well), a concentration of 2-3 μg/mL of thisantibody will detect at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant human MIP-3-beta when used withbiotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human MIP-3-beta as the detection antibody at aconcentration of at least 0.5 μg/mL. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Hintergrund
MIP3 chemokines are among many novel beta chemokines recently identified through bioinformatics in the Expressed Sequence Tag (EST) database. They are distantly related to other beta chemokines (20-30 % aa sequence homology). MIP3 chemokines are useful probes for studying the biology of inflammation and cell migration. Their expression is strongly up-regulated by inflammatory signals and down-regulated by the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL10. MIP3 beta is also known as ELC (EBI1-1 ligand chemokine) and is constitutively expressed in various lymphoid tissues (thymus, lymph nodes, appendix and spleen). MIP3 beta is a chemoattractant for cultured human lymphocytes, dendritic cells, human T lymphoblastoid CEM NKR2 and hemopoietic progenitor cells. It may be involved in G Protein activation in human NK cells. MIP3 beta is a unique functional ligand for CCR7. The MIP3 beta gene has been mapped to chormosome 9p13.Synonyms: Beta chemokine exodus-3, C-C motif chemokine 19, CCL-19, CK beta-11, EBI1-ligand chemokine, ELC, Exodus-3, MIP-3 beta, MIP3B, Macrophage inflammatory protein 3 beta, SCYA19, Small-inducible cytokine A19, Small-inducible cytokine A19
